Inside you’ll find your Tip Box, clear Perspex cash tray, magnetic message panel, combination lock, fixings and optional security cable.

Remove the protective film from the Perspex cash tray before assembly.

Using it is optional, but recommended if your Tip Box will be used in a public space.

First, carefully take the lock apart and keep the components in order. Insert the lock through the opening in the Perspex cash tray from the outside. Then reassemble the hardware on the inside in this order:

Large fixing nut → Square hole plate → Locking hook → Washer → Screw

Secure the back panel against the Tip Box using the small screws and nuts provided. Place each nut behind the panel and tighten the screw from the front using the provided screwdriver.

This panel is the magnetic part of your Tip Box. The rest of the Tip Box is not magnetic.

If you’re using the anti-theft security cable, attach it while installing the back panel, or without the panel.

Place the cable eyelet over the fixing hole, insert the screw through the eyelet and panel, then add the nut behind and tighten securely.

Your lock arrives set to 000. Make sure the lock is unlocked, then:

1. Insert the reset pin into the reset opening.
2. Press and hold the pin firmly.
3. While holding it in, set your new code.
4. Remove the reset pin.
5. Test your new code before locking.

Use the two keyhole fixings on the back as your guide. Measure the distance between them and transfer the measurements onto your wall.

Drill pilot holes and use the provided wall fixings where required. Screw the fixings most of the way in, leaving approximately 5 mm between the screw head and wall.

Line the keyholes up with the screws, push the Tip Box against the wall and pull down slightly into position. Check inside the Tip Box to make sure both screws are correctly positioned and the unit is secure.
