Wine I Like: A Winter Friday Night

Wine I Like: A Winter Friday Night

Six wines, shared tasting notes and a room full of good people. A look back at our Made of Tomorrow × Blind…

by Made of Tomorrow

We thought we were hosting a wine tasting. By the end of the night, it felt like something else.

On a winter Friday evening, we opened the doors for Wine I Like, a Made of Tomorrow × Blind gathering built around a simple idea: you don’t need to speak wine to know what you like.

Six wines. A long table. Plenty of conversation. And a room full of people ready to taste, compare notes and discover something new.

Six Pours. No Right Answers.

We tasted our way through six very different wines:

  • Zonzo Zoncello Limoncello
  • NV Lucien Albrecht Crémant
  • 2022 Save Our Souls Vermentino
  • 2025 Unico Zelo Pink Zinc
  • 22 Grasshopper Rock Pinot Noir
  • 2024 La Boca Malbec

Some were bright and familiar. Others were completely unexpected. The point wasn’t to find the “correct” tasting note. It was to notice what stood out, write it down and talk about it with the person beside you.

Between pours came Palace burgers, shared plates and the kind of easy conversation that makes a Friday night stretch out a little longer.

A Journal for What You Actually Like

Each place was set with our Made of Tomorrow Wine I Like journal, somewhere to record the bottle, the moment and the details worth remembering.

The pages quickly filled with tasting notes, ratings, honest reactions and the occasional sketch. Less about memorising wine language. More about building a record of your own taste, one glass at a time.

More Than a Wine Tasting

The wine brought everyone into the room, but the people made the evening what it was.

Everyone left with a goody bag, including a custom Made of Tomorrow wine, and hopefully a new favourite.

Thank you to Blind and to everyone who joined us. That’s how you spend a winter Friday night.
